William Bradley Brucker

My wife Christina and I were married in December of 2018 and are currently living in the South Metro area of Portland, Oregon with our dog Moe.

I’m incredibly passionate about creating music, coaching baseball, and above all following Jesus.

I am currently finishing completing an undergraduate degree at Grand Canyon University, studying theology and philosophy.

Most recently I have joined the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as a representative for South Portland.

I was born May 25, 1995 in Chicago, IL. Moved to Portland, Oregon in 1999 where my parents planted a church in Sherwood in 2000.

MAKING FOR THE FEW

MAKING FOR THE FEW

I feel there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people.
— Vincent van Gogh

“Making for the few” was inspired from a moment in my life where I had officially given up on music, a life long pursuit of mine, as a result of God exposing it as something core to my broken source of identity. As I released this identity, God responded shortly a few days later,

“If you created music only for a few people to hear, what would you share and how would you share it?”

While much of art and creativity in today’s world is motivated and valued primary for/by monetary gain, my assignment in my art as well as my life is to seek to create for the few as my audience, rather then the most. By intentionally seeking precious vulnerability, I hope what I create, what I share, and how I participate in lives of others, cultivates a heart for intimacy and healing.
